Eighties – A Tribute to
an Iconic Decade
an Iconic Decade
Eighties is a fictional magazine concept that I created, designed, and wrote copy for. A school project with the task of creating a magazine, including a cover and two spreads. The concept and theme are completely open.
Inspired by the bold aesthetics, pop culture, and spirit of the 1980s, the magazine blends vibrant visuals with engaging editorial content. Through carefully curated layouts, typography, and nostalgic storytelling, Eighties captures the essence of a decade that continues to influence fashion, music, and design.
This project reflects my passion for magazine design, print media, and storytelling—bringing a distinctive era to life in a fresh and contemporary way.

for Rundvirke Poles
for Rundvirke Poles
A real client project for Rundvirke Poles: two spreads for Energi Magazine. I worked independently as the designer, maintaining continuous communication with the client throughout the process.
This piece showcases a minimalist layout and demonstrates how trees alone can create a striking visual composition to enhance a spread.
Cookbook spread
A cookbook spread created as part of a school project. The challenge was to craft a visually engaging and inviting layout within a limited space. One that would inspire readers to try the recipe.
I independently led the design, focusing on balance, clarity, and appetite appeal to bring the dish to life.
Advertorials
Client-commissioned work: full-page paid editorial ads designed to promote both a product and a service.
I managed the entire process independently, from concept development to final delivery, ensuring clear messaging and visually compelling results.
Magazine ads
RIGHT: Two client projects for RFSU and Gårdsservice—half-page print ads promoting a lesson package and a range of products. I managed the entire process independently, working directly with each client from concept to final delivery.
LEFT: A fictional full-page ad created as part of a school magazine project. Since the brief included designing the back cover, and the magazine had an 80s-inspired theme, I developed the idea of a Walkman ad. I created the illustration in Illustrator and completed the layout in InDesign, working independently throughout.
Magazine ads
RIGHT: A fictional full-page ad created for a school project with a brief to design a concert poster. I intentionally moved away from the typical visual style of the genre, developing a more distinctive concept for Martha Wainwright.
I worked independently throughout the entire process, from idea to final execution.
LEFT: Two client-commissioned projects: half-page print ads for SiS and Stockholm University, promoting career opportunities as a teacher and a doctoral student, respectively. I managed the entire process independently, working closely with each client from concept to final delivery.
